Frequently asked questions about the rehearsal room app

How long does it take to go live in my room?
Between 2 and 5 business days from sign-off. Our team loads your rooms, schedules, prices and existing packs, and connects payments to your Stripe or Redsys account. If you order door hardware, the lock installation is planned separately based on availability of your electrician or ours.
How does the door opening from the app work?
When the band has paid their booking and arrives at the room within their time slot, they unlock the door by tapping a button in the mobile app. The system validates that the booking is active and triggers the connected lock. No physical keys, no numeric codes to remember. Requires installing our lock system, quoted separately depending on your door type.
What if the room's internet goes down? Do bands get locked out?
The lock needs connection to validate openings in real time. As a fallback we recommend a 4G backup or an admin emergency code for the owner. If your room has frequent outages, we assess this during initial setup and propose a solution.
Can I cancel the subscription anytime?
Yes. No commitment period. You pay monthly or yearly (yearly is equivalent to 2 months free). If you cancel on yearly billing, we refund the unused portion. On monthly, your subscription stays active until the end of the current month.
Is it legal to charge bookings upfront in a rehearsal room?
Yes, as long as the cancellation policy is clear and accepted by the client at booking time. We recommend: full refund if canceled more than 24h before, store credit if canceled within 24h. The notice is generated automatically at booking confirmation. The platform complies with EU GDPR and Spanish LSSI.
How does the prepaid 10 or 20 hour packs system work?
You define packs in the panel (e.g. "10h valid for 3 months, multi-room, €100"). The musician buys from the app or web. When booking, hours are automatically deducted from the pack, FIFO order if they have several. You can restrict which rooms each pack accepts, which time bands are valid, and whether it expires.
What if I'm not tech-savvy? Do I have to set it up myself?
No. Our team handles the full setup with you on a 60-90 minute call. We load your rooms, schedules, prices, existing packs and existing client data. You only confirm the info by WhatsApp or email. After that you get 15 minutes of recorded training for the 3-4 buttons you will use daily.
Can I migrate the bookings and packs I already manage on paper or Excel?
Yes. During initial setup we load your rooms, schedules and existing packs from your Excel or notebook. Existing clients receive an email invitation to create their account with their balance already loaded. Our team does it, not you.
Does it work if I have rooms in different cities?
Yes, with no extra cost per location on the Chain plan. One panel manages all locations, with independent calendars and prices per room. Touring bands see all your rooms in the same app and book at any of them without creating a new account. Accounting is reported per location and consolidated.
What hardware do I need for the door opening from the app?
We work with a connected lock system that we install on each room door. The quote depends on door type (wood, metal, garage roller) and whether electrical work is needed. We quote it after a 10-minute call where you tell us about your setup. If you want to start without touching the door, you can use the app just for bookings and payments and open manually for the first weeks.
Do you charge commission on bookings?
No. The subscription price includes unlimited bookings. You only pay the fees your payment gateway charges (Stripe ~1.4% + €0.25 per European transaction, Redsys per your agreement with your bank). The money goes straight to your account, it does not pass through us.
How does it compare to SimplyBook, Skedda or a Google Form?
SimplyBook and Skedda are generic tools costing €99-200/month that do not solve door opening nor prepaid "10 hour" packs the way a rehearsal room needs them. A Google Form does not charge, does not control capacity and does not prevent double bookings. Reservar Zona Común is built specifically for physical facilities that must open by themselves, with payments and access integrated in the same flow.
